The Story

Inspired by true events. When friends become the enemy, a falsely imprisoned man plots revenge.

Set in 1984, Blue Betrayal is a dramatic crime thriller about Joe Lupino, an ace cop with the New York City Police Department. While on a drug bust, Joe is shot and comes within an inch of losing his life — prompting him to think harder about how to provide for his wife and two small children. While in rehab, he opens a gym with a business partner, planning to retire from the force early.

He discovers his business partner is selling large amounts of cocaine out of the gym after hours, protected by fellow officers and the mob. When Joe tries to stop it, he's set up as the bad guy, loses everything, and is sent to prison. Behind bars, he learns exactly how deep the betrayal runs — and who's involved. Does he get his revenge?
